Job Description

We are looking for a driven and responsible Site Manager for an exciting company in the construction industry that specializes in larger properties within logistics and industry! In this role, you will have overall responsibility for leading and driving projects forward. You play a key role on the construction site and are responsible for coordinating both personnel and subcontractors.

As a Site Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that the daily work on the construction site proceeds according to plan. You ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with customer requirements, contracts, and timelines. You also have an important task in creating and maintaining a safe working environment to promote a productive and secure workplace.

The role involves a lot of travel to different projects, mainly in southern Sweden. The position is initially a consultancy assignment with the possibility of takeover by the client.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the daily work on the construction site
• Be responsible for scheduling, resource allocation, and working environment
• Ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and quality requirements
• Maintain close communication with clients, subcontractors, and other partners
• Follow up on finances and report project status

Qualifications

• Experience working as a site manager in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction law.
• Possess a valid driver's license (B).
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Ability to stay away from home during the week.
• Previous experience in a traveling position is an advantage.
