Terranor AB is a leading provider of operation and maintenance services for road infrastructure in the Nordic region. We also carry out smaller earthworks and construction work as part of our local presence in various locations in Sweden.

A key to our success is our competent and experienced employees in the road service area. We are now looking for operation and maintenance workers who want to help drive our operation contract in Eksjö.

Your role with us

As an operation and maintenance worker with us, you will work with traffic closures, winter maintenance, summer ground works, and smaller construction tasks. The job includes being on call, which means being responsible for dispatching sand trucks and plowing units, as well as managing communication with contractors. The on-call duty is scheduled.

Your experience

We are looking for someone with experience in earthworks and construction or other relevant experience from the contracting industry. You have a practical educational background and enjoy working in a team. A BE and C driver's license and YKB, as well as good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, are required. Hot work and Work on Road 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.2, and 2.3 are meritorious. Heavier driving licenses such as CE and operator certificates for wheel loaders are also advantageous within the organization.

We are looking for someone who is practical, responsible, and engaged in their work. The operations are to some extent event-driven by what happens on the streets/roads, which requires some flexibility. You are communicative and take responsibility for creating a good community and achieving good results together with your colleagues. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Additional information

The employment is a permanent position, with a probationary period applicable.

The workplace is Eksjö. The position includes winter duty and summer on-call, which sometimes requires work outside regular hours. You report to the Operations Manager for the area. Start date according to agreement.
