The Property Department at the Technical Service Administration is responsible for the municipality's premises and is a driving force in energy-saving issues, maintenance, renovation, and new construction. All to ensure that our colleagues and residents can work in the best possible facilities.

Currently, several exciting projects are underway that the Property Department will ensure become a reality. Among other things, we are building a brand new primary school as well as a preschool. At the same time, several projects involving renovation, maintenance, and demolition are ongoing. We are also planning several maintenance projects, a new sports hall, swimming pool, and a special accommodation for the elderly.

We are now looking for an experienced project manager due to a previous retirement as well as upcoming planned leave.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of a unit with both property managers and project managers. As a project manager with us, you will work in a leading and coordinating role. You will drive, lead, and coordinate investment and maintenance projects for the municipality's operations with overall responsibility for quality, budget, timelines, follow-up, and customer contacts.

In our project management group, we have gathered many different qualifications and experiences. In addition to managing larger projects where a large workgroup needs to be coordinated, we also plan smaller projects using our own expertise. Our project managers are involved throughout the entire construction process, starting with investigations together with municipal operations, budgeting during the budget process, project management and planning, procurement according to LOU, construction management, and support during the warranty period.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are an engaged team player. You are structured and quickly see the big picture in projects, which means you are good at organizing and prioritizing. With great commitment, you strive to achieve set goals.

We prefer that you are a civil engineer and have several years of relevant work experience. Candidates with a high school background, complemented by relevant vocational training and industry experience are also qualified. Work experience in construction project management, CAD, budgeting, procurement, as well as good knowledge of laws and regulations in the construction industry is meritorious.

The role requires that you have good collaboration skills, and that you are both responsive and flexible. A driver's license and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as good computer skills within operational systems are required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A copy of the police record of convictions and suspicions is a prerequisite for being offered employment.
