About the role

As a construction manager, you will be part of a team that plans and prepares the implementation of rock and civil engineering work for new subway stations and work tunnels in southern Stockholm. The work involves technically challenging projects where tunnel and station construction occurs both through TBM technology and blasting from the surface.

Your main responsibilities

• Participate in design and develop technical solutions, method choices, and production plans

• Participate in procurement and preparation of tender documents for contracts

• Follow up on contracts and ensure that work is carried out according to contract, schedule, and quality requirements

• Be responsible for daily contact and collaboration with contractors on site

• Contribute to decision-making for uninterrupted production and goal fulfillment

• Monitor work environment, economy, technology, quality, environment, and safety in consultation with project managers and specialists

• Document and report changes and additional work (ÄTA), quantity deviations, and daily observations

• Participate in risk management, forecasting, and inspections

• Create good relationships with external stakeholders and collaborate with adjacent contracts

Your profile

• Several years of experience as a construction manager in rock and civil engineering projects, preferably from larger infrastructure or tunnel projects

• Solid knowledge of contract law, construction processes, and work environment responsibility

• Experience working with TBM, blasting, concrete structures, and work tunnels is highly desirable

• Familiarity with collaborating with designers, contractors, and specialists in complex projects

• Independent, solution-oriented, and structured with good communication skills

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

Requirements:

• Approved high school diploma

• 10+ years of documented work experience in underground production in tunnels or caverns

• Documented work experience in executing contracts where the systems Anläggnings AMA and MER have been used (at least 2 contracts)

Nice to have:

• Documented work experience in the role of construction manager in rock and civil engineering contracts with sensitive environmental impact

• Experience with production methods involving drilling/blasting
