Do you want to work in a role where you can influence, develop, and create long-term supplier relationships? We are now looking for a category buyer in castings and raw materials who wants to take responsibility for both strategy and operational purchasing.

In this role, you will drive category strategies, analyze cost data, and identify new savings opportunities. You will negotiate contracts, lead supplier meetings, and ensure that suppliers perform at a high level in terms of quality, delivery, cost, service, and technology. With a proactive approach, you will also contribute to risk management, innovation, and sustainable capacity planning.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities
• Drive and implement category strategy
• Negotiate and follow up on contracts
• Lead meetings and dialogues with suppliers
• Ensure high performance in Q, D, C, S, T (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Service, Technology)
• Contribute to innovation, risk management, and capacity planning

Your profile

• Experience in strategic purchasing or category purchasing
• Good understanding of supply chains in castings and raw materials
• Strong negotiation skills and analytical ability
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders
• Structured, results-oriented, and solution-focused
