We are now looking for you who want to be a part of our Swedish or Norwegian Collections team! Here you will be part of a team of about 20 people working full-time and part-time, with the goal of helping our customers with financial difficulties get back on track. Are you a bit worried about Norwegian? No worries! The majority of our colleagues in the Norwegian team speak Swedish (or Sworska) and it works just fine. The important thing is that you feel comfortable!
About the role
Collections is an outbound operation where you will primarily be calling customers who, for some reason, are behind on their payments. In some cases, there are simple solutions; in others, you will need to set up a long-term plan together with the customer. You will also receive incoming calls from customers who contact us. Along with the calls, there is some administration, but the role itself is phone-based, so we are looking for someone who enjoys talking to customers and sees each call as an opportunity to help!
To succeed in the role, it is important that you are engaged and driven – both in your meetings with customers and in your own development. We value your active contribution in team discussions and meetings, even in situations where you may not have the deepest expertise. We work in a regulated environment, and it is crucial that you understand the responsibility that comes with working in a bank, especially regarding compliance with the regulations we must adhere to. Examples of regulations we are affected by include GDPR, banking secrecy, AML regulations, and identity verification. We also need to consider how we communicate with our customers both verbally and in writing.
Important for you to know:
This position starts with a two-week full-time training at the office. To give you the best conditions to start working, a high attendance during these two weeks is required, except for mandatory school commitments.
Scheduling:
The shifts we offer are primarily scheduled over 4 days at each month-end and 3 days in the middle of each month. During the rest of the month, we rarely need more hours unless it is to cover for illness, for example. During the summer, you can expect to work full-time some weeks. We schedule about a month in advance.
We are looking for you who:
- Have previous experience working with service/people in some way
- Have another main occupation of at least 50% lasting at least 1 year, such as studies
- Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English
- Are comfortable speaking with Norwegian customers daily
It is advantageous if you:
- Have worked in customer service with phone support or closely related work
- Have previous experience working in banking/finance
- Are familiar with the Norwegian language
To thrive and perform well in the role, we believe you need to be:
- Service-oriented & communicative: You have the ability to listen and understand people's different needs while also being assertive in your interactions with others.
- Result-oriented: You are driven by achieving concrete results and goals, such as customer satisfaction.
- Flexible: You can adapt to different situations that arise at work and are good at prioritizing.
In addition, it is important for us that you resonate with our values: we are wholehearted, we collaborate, and we take the lead.
Practical information: Start: By agreement Location: Office at Gävlegatan 22 in Stockholm Employment type: Special fixed-term employment Scope: As needed, see the section "scheduling" above Working hours: 9-17 Hourly wage: The salary for this position ranges from 160-170 SEK/hour and is determined individually based on relevant knowledge, experience, and education.
