We are now looking for a wonderful colleague for future positions in a larger organization at the IT Service Desk located in Varberg.

Your responsibilities

Our client is a large organization and your placement will be at the IT service desk in Varberg. You will enter an IT organization where there is a strong focus on developing it and evolving with digitalization as a foundation. This means that you will be entering an exciting phase where work methods and supporting technology will constantly be developed.

You will work to support customers in their daily work at the computer. This means that you will meet customers with support needs that arise when they are working at the office or at home (e.g., connection and VDI), or using M365 to work in the "cloud" and to access applications as well as store on OneDrive, work in Teams, or similar. The customers are primarily individuals from the organization itself and they are geographically dispersed.

The goal is to resolve as much as possible at the first contact with the customer. Mainly, it is support directly with the customer via phone or on-site, as well as through a ticket management system. Information security is an important part of all work performed.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Phone support - register and resolve issues and orders in direct contact with customers over the phone
On-site support - for issues that cannot be easily resolved over the phone
Web support - review, complete issues, and communicate in writing with customers
Solutions group - our Service Desk is constantly challenged with issues/incidents that require analysis and deeper troubleshooting

Your profile

You are a person who prioritizes customer focus and a good attitude, and you feel satisfied when you have been able to help the customer and done a good job. You have a desire to further develop within IT technology, and here you will have that opportunity. With the right attitude and engagement from your side, you will have the chance to grow in knowledge and in terms of responsibility and assignments.

Furthermore, you have a strong interest and experience in troubleshooting within computer technology, M365, and Windows OS. Knowledge of account management in Exchange and AD is an advantage, as is documented work experience in the IT support industry and post-secondary education. Since the organization uses Teams extensively for digital meetings and collaborations, deeper knowledge of that solution is also a bonus for the applicant.

In the selection process, great importance will be placed on personal suitability and the ability to function in a group.

We prefer that you have:

High school diploma or equivalent in IT technical subjects
Knowledge and experience in client (computer) technology, Windows OS, and M365
Technical knowledge and interest in technology
Very good Swedish in speech and writing
Driver's license B is a requirement
