IT Support Staff for IT Service Desk in Varberg

We are now looking for a wonderful colleague for future positions in a larger organization at the IT service desk located in Varberg.

Your Responsibilities

Our client is a large organization, and your placement will be at the IT service desk in Varberg. You will join an IT organization that focuses on developing itself and evolving with digitalization as a foundation. This means you will enter an exciting phase where working methods and supporting technology will constantly evolve.

You will work to support customers in their daily tasks on the computer. This means you will meet customers with support needs that arise when they work at the office or from home (e.g., connection issues or VDI), or use M365 to work in the "cloud" and access applications, as well as store on OneDrive, work in Teams, or similar. The customers are primarily individuals from the organization itself and are geographically dispersed.

The goal is to resolve as much as possible during the first contact with the customer. Mainly, support will be provided directly to the customer via phone or on-site, as well as through a ticketing system. Information security is an important part of all work performed.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

• Phone support - register and resolve issues and orders in direct contact with the customer over the phone
• On-site support - for issues that cannot be easily resolved via phone
• Web support - review, complete issues, and communicate in writing with customers
• Solutions group - our Service Desk is constantly challenged with issues/incidents that require analysis and deeper troubleshooting

Your Profile

You are a person who prioritizes customer focus and a good attitude; you feel satisfied when you have been able to help the customer and done a good job. You have a desire to further develop within IT technology, and you will have that opportunity here. With the right attitude and engagement from your side, you will have the chance to grow in knowledge and in terms of responsibility and assignments.

Furthermore, you have a strong interest and experience in troubleshooting computer technology, M365, and Windows OS. Knowledge of account management in Exchange and AD is an advantage, as is documented work experience in the IT support industry and post-secondary education. Since the organization uses Teams a lot for digital meetings and collaborations, deeper knowledge of that solution is also a bonus for the applicant.

In the selection process, great importance will be placed on personal suitability and the ability to function in a group.

We Prefer That You Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent in IT technical subjects
• Knowledge and experience in client (computer) technology, Windows OS, and M365
• Technical knowledge and interest in technology
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing
• Driver's license B is a requirement
