Norrland University Hospital, Nus, in Umeå is our county hospital that provides healthcare to patients in the local area.

Here we also provide care in many medical fields to patients from all over Västerbotten County. Since the hospital has several assignments in national highly specialized care, we also treat patients from all over the country. We also offer temporary positions in primary care.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel safe. You will have varied tasks as the patient groups are changing.

In this role, you will identify risks, assess, address, and evaluate the patient's various care needs. Together with nurses, paramedics, and doctors, you will work with emergency care, nursing, rehabilitation, habilitation, and development and improvement with the patient/client in focus. Your tasks also include documentation according to the Social Services Act, the Health and Medical Services Act, as well as administrative tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

As a nursing assistant, you should have completed the nursing program/equivalent education or be studying at the nursing program (completed semester 3) or the medical program (completed semester 5).

You are a compassionate and positive person who can work and prioritize in acute and stressful situations. You are good at collaborating with different people in various professional categories.

You are proactive, ambitious, and see opportunities. It is an advantage if you can work throughout the holiday period.
