Additive manufacturing (AM) is a technology with great potential to revolutionize how products are designed, manufactured, and maintained – not least within the defense industry. For Saab, AM is not just a production technology, but a strategic opportunity to improve functionality, reduce weight, shorten lead times, and manufacture geometries that were previously impossible.

To fully realize the potential, robust, qualified materials and processes are required, as well as the ability to think innovatively at every step - from design to production.

What skills are we looking for?

We are now looking for individuals with interest and experience in Additive Manufacturing (AM). It is not about a specific role, but about identifying the right people for several possible positions, including:

• Design Engineers 
• AM Specialists
• Production Engineers / AM Operators
• Technicians/Operators
• Material and Process Engineers

Regardless of experience level, you are of interest to us; the most important thing is your commitment to AM and your willingness to learn and contribute.

Locations

There is a need primarily in Karlstad, Karlskoga, and Linköping but other locations or hybrid solutions may also be relevant depending on the role and skills.
