What will you be working on?

As a customer communicator, you are the first point of contact for customers when they call. You handle many incoming calls, both together with colleagues and sometimes independently. You will work as a receptionist and switchboard operator for Region Östergötland.

Your main tasks include:

• Receiving and answering incoming calls/visitors in a professional and service-oriented manner
• Managing calls by effectively directing them
• Providing support and answering questions from callers and visitors
• Independently seeking and using the right information to provide the best possible assistance to those who call or visit
• Actively contributing improvement suggestions to develop our service towards customers and our own operations

Who are you?

You are a service-oriented person who wants to make a difference for people and is attentive to everyone who calls in and visits the reception and their needs. You can handle difficult calls under time pressure and have the ability to adapt to each unique call. You work effectively and structured, and benefit from it during periods of high tempo. You are a team player who steps up when needed but also enjoys working independently.

We are looking for you:

• Previous experience in switchboard/reception or work in the service industry is highly meritorious.
• You can work both days, evenings, weekends, and nights, as the schedule varies
• Your Swedish and English are good in both spoken and written form
• You are comfortable searching for and absorbing information via a computer, and experience working in various systems and programs is a plus

About the position

• Employment type: Hourly employment as needed
• Working hours: Weekdays and weekends
• Start date: Immediately
