The Opportunity

In this role, you will be part of our production development team. You will support production and lead production implementations of the world's largest transformers. You will work with production development, giving you the opportunity to gain a broad knowledge of our products. With a focus on supporting and developing production, you will also follow Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means you take responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues. You will play a key role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing technical solutions, and supporting production in daily operations.

How You Will Impact

• You will lead and participate in development projects to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Identify problems and implement solutions, analyze production data, and suggest improvements based on Lean and Six Sigma.
• You will also lead larger investment projects.
• In this role, you will support digitalization and automation initiatives within the factory.
• You will participate in the introduction of new products and processes. You will also introduce and update work descriptions and method regulations.
• Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams. Also, work closely with colleagues and suppliers to solve production challenges.

Your Background

• You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or another relevant field.
• Work experience in production development or a similar role.
• You possess analytical and problem-solving skills and have knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma.
• You have good communication and collaboration skills.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Experience with Power BI, MES, or CAD is a plus.
