The Opportunity

The Power Transformers factory is growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to help drive improvements in manufacturing processes.

Do you want to work closely with production and contribute to improving our manufacturing processes? You will play a key role in identifying areas for improvement, implementing technical solutions, and supporting production in daily operations.

In production technology, we work integrated with production but also with several other parts of the organization such as quality, maintenance, design, and procurement both internally and globally.

You will act as support to production and work on analyzing and improving production flows with a focus on quality, efficiency, and safety. You will also develop and update work instructions and technical documentation, as well as support the implementation of new processes and be responsible for driving investment projects. You will also manage the introduction of new tools and work with R&D solutions.

You will be part of a fantastic team with good camaraderie that helps each other and ensures that we bring out the best of each other's knowledge and experience.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Support and optimize production processes in our manufacturing operations.
  • Participate in the implementation of new products and production solutions.
  • Drive operational measures related to HSE, quality, delivery, productivity, and processes.
  • Actively participate in new investments and strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and R&D teams.

Your Background

  • You have a technical education in production, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in production technology, preferably in a manufacturing environment or experience in active subprocesses and a strong technical interest.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other improvement methods is a plus.
  • You have a proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

In this role, you will have a central position and therefore need to be flexible. This means – in addition to being able to collaborate smoothly and flexibly – that you are engaged, take initiative, and take responsibility for your own work. Equally important is that you approach your challenges with precision and structure and that you are used to holding and leading meetings as well as projects.

What We Offer

  • Collective agreement
  • Flexible working hours
  • Company healthcare and wellness benefits
  • Fantastic career opportunities within Hitachi Energy in Sweden as well as globally
  • Training and courses that contribute to personal and professional development
  • Diverse company with over 70+ nationalities represented within the Swedish organization
  • Supplementary benefits during parental leave
  • Benefits portal with over a thousand perks and discounts
