Role Description:

Assignment: IT Security Technician – Network and Firewall

We are looking for an IT Security Technician for an assignment within a larger authority. The assignment involves participation in the operation and development of the national infrastructure for the Network and Firewall group. The group is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of communication solutions that meet the organization's requirements for availability and security, as well as gradually modernizing the infrastructure towards virtualized and automated network environments.

The assignment requires active participation in modernization and development initiatives in line with the authority's long-term goals. The consultant should have a good ability to lead and coordinate technical activities and further development assignments within the network area.

Consultant's Tasks:

• Act as an expert in data center networks with a focus on Cisco ACI.
• Participate in the operation and further development of national and central network infrastructure.
• Lead and coordinate technical activities and development assignments related to data center networks (Cisco ACI).

Qualification Requirements (Must-Haves):

• At least 3 years of documented experience in translating business and user requirements into technical solutions (experience must be from the last 5 years).
• At least 5 years of documented experience working with TCP/IP, routing, and switching (experience must be from the last 7 years).
• At least 5 years of documented experience working with Cisco network products (experience must be from the last 7 years).
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Desirable Competencies (Nice-to-Haves):

• Experience in network operations in larger and complex environments within organizations with more than 1000 employees.
• Experience participating in complex development assignments in large organizations.
• Experience designing and implementing new network security solutions in segmented networks.
• Experience with other Cisco data center platforms (beyond ACI).
• Experience working in the public sector.
