Your Role

We are now looking for two experienced iOS developers for a long-term consulting assignment. As part of a larger agile team, you will play a key role in the further development of one of Sweden's most used apps with hundreds of thousands of daily users.

You will work alongside product owners, Android and iOS developers, backend developers, testers, UX designers, and team coaches – in an environment where technology, innovation, and social benefit meet.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and further develop iOS applications in Swift and SwiftUI. Actively participate in the entire development process – from idea and design to implementation and deployment. Work with advanced features in Swift: generics, error handling, memory management, concurrency (async/await), and UI composition in SwiftUI. Contribute to improved stability, performance, and user experience in an app used by over half a million people. Ensure that solutions meet accessibility requirements (WCAG, VoiceOver). Participate in agile working methods, including pair programming, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Be a driving force in technical discussions and contribute to the team's skill development.

Qualifications

At least 8 years of relevant experience in IT. At least 5 years of experience in Swift development, with at least 2 years with SwiftUI. Documented experience in developing apps with advanced Swift features (generics, error handling, memory management, async/await). At least 6 months of experience in iOS development in applications with over 500,000 users. Experience in playing a key role in at least three projects that have led to measurable improvements (e.g., improved performance, increased accessibility, better user ratings). At least 2 years of experience in app development with a focus on accessibility (WCAG, VoiceOver). Experience in pair programming.

Post-secondary education in IT (at least 3 years) or equivalent.

Desirable Experience

Experience in driving or contributing to strategic technology choices and innovation initiatives within app development. Experience in guiding the team's technical skills and work processes. At least 2 years of experience with Figma or similar design tools (Abstract, Sketch, Zeplin). At least 2 years of experience in structured work with Git.

Location

The assignment is located in Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work by agreement.

Timeline and Scope

Start: October 8, 2025 End: October 6, 2026 Scope: Full-time, 40 hours/week Options: Possibility of extension according to 1+1+1+1+1 years

Why Apply?

This is a unique opportunity to work with one of Sweden's most used apps in an environment where modern technology meets social benefit. Here you can use your skills to create tangible improvements for hundreds of thousands of daily users. For this assignment, we will hire directly, and therefore we unfortunately cannot present self-employed individuals this time – but we look forward to future collaborations!

Apply today and seize the chance to be part of an assignment where your code makes a difference – every day!
