About the Role
We are now looking for a driven service technician for the Wind Farms in Fredrika who wants to join the journey towards fossil freedom!
Vattenfall Wind Power is in an exciting growth phase and is now looking for a wind power technician. You will have great opportunities for development as part of our team responsible for the operation and maintenance of the onshore wind farm Stor-Rotliden in Fredrika.

As a service technician, you will work with:
- Troubleshooting advanced machines in mechanics, electrical engineering, and hydraulics
- Ongoing and periodic maintenance
- Corrective actions
- Error reporting
- Participate in the design and improvement of work methods
- Work with wind turbines from Vestas
Vattenfall prioritizes safety when working in our wind farms. It is important that you have good physical fitness as the work mainly takes place at high altitudes.
We work 4 days a week, and working hours are between 7 AM to 6 PM. There may be travel with overnight stays required in the position.
Requirements
- We are looking for someone with at least a high school education in electrical engineering, preferably combined with mechanics and/or hydraulics.
- Practical experience in service and troubleshooting of advanced machines as well as work in wind power technology is a requirement.
- A driver's license is required.
- Good IT skills for administration in IT systems. Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as the corporate language is English.
A strong safety mindset, self-driven work approach, and good collaboration skills are qualities we highly value. We also appreciate your ability to plan and prioritize, even with many tasks at hand. We expect you to be engaged, attentive, and meticulous.
Desirable Qualifications
It is strongly meritorious if you have completed and approved vocational training in Wind Power. Knowledge in hydraulics is also an advantage.
