Your Responsibilities

You will, together with the rest of the team of service technicians, work with preventive maintenance, service, and carry out installations of Alimak's products, which are often found in various industries and construction sites in Sweden and abroad. You may also be involved in the development and production of the products. The majority of your working time will be spent working with construction and industrial elevators, but there will also be some new installations and special projects. The job also involves some administrative work in the form of handling service protocols and documentation for invoicing.
You will be based in Skellefteå. Longer service assignments are common, as you will stay and live in hotels near the service objects.
Travel abroad is also offered for the ambitious and interested, as customers are located in other countries, including the Bahamas, Estonia, and Latvia.

Your Background

You have a high school education, for example from:

Electrical and Energy Program.
Vehicle Program.
Industrial Technology Program.

You possess skills in the following areas:

Mechanics, Electronics, or Installation.
Automation or similar.

The assignment requires:

Good knowledge of both Swedish and English.
Ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing.
Good physical condition is important, as work is often performed at heights and heavy lifting is involved.

As a person, you should be:

Outgoing, social, and service-oriented.
Enjoy working in a team.
Self-driven and not hesitate to take your own initiatives and decisions.
Solution-oriented and have a positive attitude when faced with complex challenges.
