Kroksjön Sawmill processes timber from the forests of Västerbotten. Here, we produce everything from sawn goods to building products for the construction retail industry. We also tailor certain products directly for the house building industry for efficient construction. We take advantage of the unique values of the slow-growing, strong quality raw material we have, which gives the products a high quality. We are driven by our passion for timber and are at the forefront of using new technology to maximize the use of raw materials. Around 100 employees work with us. Our sawmill is located about 10 kilometers southwest of Skellefteå.

Together with Bygdsiljum and Martinson's building system, we enable delivery from seed to finished wooden house. We want to be an enabling force in circular and future-proof community building. But regardless of the role we have, we all share the same goal: to create sustainability and climate benefits for future generations.

Your future challenge

As a vehicle mechanic, you will be part of the Maintenance Department, which today is a team of 14 people. In the area, there are both forklifts and wheel loaders that you will be responsible for working with both preventive and emergency maintenance. In your daily work, you will closely collaborate with your colleagues, team leaders, and maintenance planners in the area.

A typical workday will also involve daily contact with vehicle drivers, other maintenance staff, and suppliers, both in person and via email and phone. You will work with a lot of freedom under responsibility and be a strong contributing factor in managing the action list for the area's vehicles. To succeed in the role

We are now looking for you who want to be an important cog in Holmen and Kroksjön's success. You enjoy working in a team and have the ability to create good relationships with both colleagues and suppliers. As a person, you are engaged, self-driven, and can adjust your work pace when required.

In terms of experience, we are looking for you who are an experienced vehicle mechanic and have worked with vehicle electronics, hydraulics, transmissions, and of course diesel engines. Through your knowledge and structured working method, you ensure that production flows as smoothly as possible in the long run.

In filling this position, we will place great importance on personal suitability, as well as your interest in machine functions and vehicle technology. The work requires that you have good IT skills. It is an advantage if you have forklift and wheel loader licenses and experience driving vehicles, preferably through previous work experience. A B driver's license is a requirement.
