Your role:

We are looking for a Mechanic for Fixed Installations belonging to the maintenance department in the Renström mine. As a Mechanic, you will primarily work with preventive maintenance and repairs of fixed installations above and below ground. We are looking for someone who is committed, self-driven, and has the ability to take initiative. You prioritize safety, take personal responsibility, and work in a careful and structured manner. The role includes troubleshooting, and we emphasize the importance of being able to make quick decisions calmly in critical situations.

Your team:

You will belong to the Fixed Installations department, where we are 15 people, including cleaners and mechanics. In this role, you will collaborate with other mechanics as well as with other departments in the mine. You report to the team leader of the Fixed Installations department, and you will work day shifts Monday to Friday one week and Monday to Thursday the next week.

Your tasks:

• Preventive maintenance of rock lifts, personnel lifts, shafts, crushers & conveyors
• Operation and repairs of gates, pumps, and ventilation walls

Your contribution:

• High school diploma, preferably in industry, mechanical or similar
• Experience in welding and assembly
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driver's license for passenger car
• Experience in operations, maintenance, mechanical maintenance, as well as problem-solving and improvement work is an advantage
• Computer skills and experience operating forklifts and wheel loaders are advantageous
