As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful life in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on their strengths. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Typical tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It's a very exciting job!

Ånestad is located in Berga and consists of two departments with 14 places in each department. The facility has a purely somatic focus. We work with activities and meals and have both a cook and an activity coordinator who assists.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and responsive when needed.

• It is advantageous if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.
• Previous experience in elderly care is highly meritorious.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We prefer that you have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Employment type: Fixed-term employment

Start date: By agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present a criminal record extract. You also need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
