At A-hub, we are currently seeking a senior project manager for a global company in Västerås. The role involves leading strategically important investment projects that enhance the company's continued growth, operational excellence, and long-term competitiveness. The next major initiative is a new extensive project where you will drive the entire process from planning to final installation.

About the Role

As a senior project manager, you will take full ownership of investment projects from idea to handover. You will be responsible for planning, procurement and RFQ processes, supplier management, installation and integration into ongoing production, FAT and SAT, as well as formal project closure. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to internal standards. The role is fully on-site in Västerås with close contact with both operators and production.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver complex machinery and infrastructure investments with a focus on quality, time, and cost
• Establish specifications, drive procurements, and negotiate with suppliers
• Ensure smooth installation and integration into ongoing production
• Participate in supplier inspections and verifications (FAT and SAT), stakeholder meetings, and project closure
• Contribute to improvements and share experiences within the project organization

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with several years of experience in industrial investment projects who has chosen to build their career in project management. You are confident, communicative, and outgoing, while also being humble about the knowledge possessed by operators and colleagues.

We prefer that you have:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• Experience with special machines and advanced cutting processes such as turning, milling, drilling, or grinding
• Knowledge in project planning (MS Project/WBS), cost tracking and budgeting (SAP), as well as experience with RFQ, supplier dialogue, stakeholder communication, and risk management
• Documented experience with FAT and SAT processes
• Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driving license B
