IT Service Manager – Responsible for the development and operation of the secure IT environment of the future

With increasing uncertainty in our environment, we need to protect and develop our IT environments. New requirements and increased risks mean that we are now strengthening our delivery and building a robust structure for the future. In this assignment with our client in Linköping, you will play a key role in future-proofing a secure and stable IT environment for a client in the defense industry.

Responsibilities

As an IT Service Manager, you will be responsible for one or more services that are central to the customer delivery. You will be the spider in the web, responsible for both operations and development, with a holistic perspective in focus. The role involves close dialogue with the client and collaboration with DevOps teams that deliver the security capabilities included in each service.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop a roadmap for the service and ensure it aligns with the overall strategy
  • Document the service and create a management plan including budget for operations and development
  • Create conditions for automation and suggest improvements
  • Analyze the service from a lifecycle perspective
  • Follow up and report outcomes and forecasts

Your profile and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you need to be a good communicator and have an easy time collaborating with both technical teams, clients, and authorities. You combine analytical skills with a genuine security mindset and have the ability to weigh different options and present them to decision-makers at various levels. You also have a technical understanding of IT and infrastructure, which enables you to drive requirements and improvements forward.

The position is located with a client in the defense industry and requires security clearance according to applicable regulations.
