For our business area Nuclear Power Services and Process Industry, we are now looking for welders/pipe fitters for the department called Industry. We work with mechanics, welding, and maintenance for the process and manufacturing industry in Sweden.

As an employee at Vattenfall Services, you will work with several exciting tasks together with your colleagues in Limabacka and out on our customer projects.

Your Role as Welder/Pipe Fitter

The Industry department provides services in maintenance and contracting to the process and manufacturing industry in Sweden. It involves projects of various sizes within welding, piping, and steel constructions. In the role, you will:

• As a Welder/Fitter, report to the project manager
• Carry out customer assignments within welding, mechanics, and maintenance
• Depending on your skills, you may be responsible for the assignment
• Work to compile welding documentation
• Work to achieve timelines and quality
• Have contact with the customer and subcontractors

Since our customers are located all over Sweden, there will be some travel involved in the position with several hotel nights, so you need to have a positive attitude towards travel.

Qualifications

As a Welder/Fitter, you need the following qualifications:

We are looking for someone with a high school diploma or higher in machine/workshop/industry, or equivalent work experience. You possess welding skills, and we prefer that you have work experience similar to this position. Experience in planning, work management, or assembly work within welding and mechanics is an advantage. Experience from food/pharmaceutical jobs (FDA) is an advantage. You should be able to read and interpret drawings (ISO) and flowcharts (P&ID).

• Several years of experience in TIG welding/assembly of thin-walled stainless pipes is a requirement.
• The work as a Welder/Leading Fitter requires you to express yourself well in both speech and writing. Therefore, good language skills in Swedish are a prerequisite for success in the role.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.
• Experience with orbital welding equipment is an advantage.
