About the Role

We are now looking for a Lock Technician for the Access and Surveillance Support group at Ringhals. The Access and Surveillance Support group is responsible for the physical protection at Ringhals and has the task of supporting the two groups Operational Surveillance and Access, which are responsible for mapping/investigation work as well as the development of working methods and operations.

As a Lock Technician, you will work together with a close-knit team. The group consists of competencies within access and surveillance as well as support functions. The group actively works with the physical protection at Ringhals and acts as a bridge between operational activities and surveillance to provide the best possible solutions during projects and maintenance work.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of Ringhals' lock operations
  • Act as a contact person and expert within the lock operations for the Ringhals organization
  • Act as an operational representative in projects, primarily regarding locking systems
  • Monitor the external environment regarding physical protection and locking systems
  • Create work orders and work permits in SAP
  • Conduct follow-ups on the preventive and corrective maintenance of Ringhals' locking systems
  • Perform practical work as a lock technician
  • Mechanical maintenance of all locking systems – Mainly ASSA
  • Work with troubleshooting, corrective, and preventive maintenance of locks, fittings, and door closers
  • Work administratively in the form of reporting/documentation in our maintenance systems
  • Manufacture keys and cylinder laying

A large part of the work is related to requirements from regulations. Monitoring the external environment and collaboration with external parties in the field are other important tasks in the role.

About You

We are looking for someone who is motivated to, together with your team colleagues, identify and drive the development of operations forward by finding the most efficient working methods. You thrive in a changing environment and are eager to take on new challenges in a highly relevant and exciting part of our operations. Information in the area of physical protection is constantly updated, and you have an interest in keeping yourself informed about both technical solutions and environmental monitoring.

As a person, you are proactive and communicative. You work independently and meticulously and are motivated by results through collaboration and cooperation. Your ambition to develop forms of collaboration both within and outside the organization will help you succeed in the role of lock technician.

We primarily seek someone who has:

  • High school or post-secondary education in, for example, industrial/workshop technology, mechanics, or maintenance. You may also have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience
  • Experience in locking operations and/or maintenance technology
  • Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing, both in Swedish and English
  • Experience in nuclear technology operations or knowledge of nuclear facilities is an advantage
  • Familiarity with technical documentation and computers
