Work as a Playland Host at Kompislandet in Avesta!

Kompislandet is Avesta's first and only playland – a colorful meeting place where children and young people can run, play, and laugh in climbing frames, trampolines, obstacle courses, and many other exciting activities.

We also have a café where we serve everything from simple meals and snacks to treats and candy. We are the place where children create memories for life and where new friendships are born – and now we are looking for you who want to be part of our happy team!

Your role as a playland host

As a playland host, you are one of our most important faces to the public. You ensure that both children and adults have a safe, fun, and memorable experience with us. The tasks are varied, and you will have the chance to develop in several areas:

• Welcome our guests and provide world-class service
• Work at the cash register and handle bookings
• Prepare and serve food, snacks, and drinks in the café
• Help organize unforgettable children's parties
• Engage in children's play and ensure they have fun safely
• Keep the facility fresh and welcoming through continuous cleaning

Working hours

The working hours are mainly scheduled for evenings and weekends – perfect for you who are studying or want a fun part-time job on the side.

We are looking for someone who…

• Is between 16–21 years old
• Has a positive and outgoing attitude and enjoys meeting new people
• Is responsible, flexible, and likes to work in a fast-paced environment
• Enjoys working both independently and in a team
• Has previous experience in gymnastics, children's activities, or similar (meritorious)
• Has worked in a café/restaurant or customer service (meritorious)

Employment conditions

Hourly employment with individual salary setting

Introduction and training will be provided on-site
