At Scanvaegt, you will develop in a role where technical knowledge, customer contact, and problem-solving are combined. You will be a key person who directly contributes to our customers' success and the company's continued development.

Responsibilities

As a traveling service technician, you ensure operational reliability and high quality for the company's customers in the manufacturing industry. The role involves varied work where you both plan and carry out larger installations of equipment and handle urgent interventions when problems arise. You conduct contractual visits with annual preventive maintenance, perform calibrations to meet applicable quality requirements, and ensure that the systems function optimally. You also contribute to upselling by identifying customer needs during service assignments, which affects both the customer experience and the company's results. The tasks are coordinated via our service center, and you receive work orders directly on your iPad or phone. You then contact the customer and carry out the assignment. You work independently in most cases but collaborate in a team for larger installations. The role includes approximately 40–50 travel days per year, and you will start from home or one of Scanvaegt's offices with a service vehicle. 

  • Ensure operational reliability and high quality for Scanvaegt's customers
  • Plan and carry out installations and handle urgent service issues
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations according to quality requirements
  • Identify customer needs during service assignments and contribute to upselling

Education, experience, and personal qualities

    • High school or vocational education in electrical, mechanical, automation, or similar technical field
    • Several years of experience in service, installation, or maintenance of technical equipment/machines
    • Experience from the food or process industry is a plus
    • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
    • Driver's license B

You also have good communication skills and feel relaxed in social situations. The role is dynamic, and you thrive on handling changes and quickly adapting to new situations.
