About Björkbladet

In the picturesque area of Motala Verkstad near the Borenshult locks in northeastern Motala lies our residential care facility Björkbladet with 24 apartments for the elderly with physical disabilities and somatic issues.

• You have a group manager who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operations.
• We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents.
• Our ambition is to create a family-like atmosphere at Björkbladet.
• With us, daily physical, mental, social, cultural, and spiritual stimulation is offered according to each individual's conditions and needs. We utilize your ability and willingness to be active.
• Food is one of life's highlights, meals are prepared in the departments, and we often bake.

As a temporary staff member, you are extremely important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to interact with people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in daily check-ins and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We would like you to have experience from some form of care and support, and it is an advantage if you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
