We are looking for two specialist nursing assistants to the elderly care home Gammelgården in Vikingstad. You will work in care together with other care staff, but above all, you will have close collaboration with the nurse. What you will get with us: • Benefits portal with discounts and offers. About Gammelgården

As of May 1, 2025, Vardaga has been responsible for the operation of Gammelgården on behalf of Linköping Municipality. The elderly care home contains 26 apartments and is located in Vikingstad just west of Linköping, with green areas and a horse pasture outside the window. We work to create the best possible conditions for both individuals with dementia and elderly people with somatic illnesses, based on their own needs.

As a specialist nursing assistant, you are incredibly important! Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a specialist-trained nursing assistant, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and care staff who work closely together. Based on your competence, your assignment will include operational improvement and development work. You will guide and educate according to established planning. We expect you to be able to work independently and flexibly based on a professional approach with the ability to see opportunities. You are accustomed to using technology and digital tools in your work and see it as a given to work process-oriented and structured based on implementation plans, action plans, and follow-ups.

You will work in care both during the day, evening, and weekends.

We are looking for you who are a specialist-trained nursing assistant in palliative care, multi-sick, dementia, or a Silvia sister. This means that in addition to basic training as a nursing assistant of at least 1450 points, there is additional specialist training at a vocational college corresponding to 200 vocational college points.
