On the neonatal ward, premature infants from week 28 of pregnancy and sick newborns up to about 6 months of age are cared for. The length of stay varies from a few hours to several months.

For us, it is important to provide adequate training to our employees. Initially, we offer an introduction tailored to previous experiences.

Rotating shifts during the day, evening, and night with work on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Newly hired nurses work day and evening on weekdays, weekends, and holidays but are exempt from night work initially.

The neonatal ward belongs to the Department of Pediatrics, which also includes outpatient clinics and inpatient care for children and adolescents up to 18 years, as well as daycare and play therapy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse in neonatal care, you will design the care together with guardians and colleagues based on each child's specific needs and condition. This provides challenging tasks with breadth and variation as well as good opportunities for professional development. The work is performed in a team with nursing assistants/child nurses and doctors. We offer you an introduction tailored to your previous experiences.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in pediatric care. Experience in neonatal care is not a requirement. You will receive an introduction alongside an experienced nurse/child nurse.

It is advantageous if you have a specialist nursing education in health and medical care for children and adolescents or previous experience in neonatal care.

You take initiative and work independently when required, but you are also flexible and good at collaborating. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
