Sundbybergs Vårdcentral is a medium-sized health center with short decision-making paths, and as an employee, you have great opportunities to influence work methods and routines. At Sundbybergs Vårdcentral, we work with everything from preventive health work to emergency care.

We need a general practitioner, preferably with experience in primary care, who can start from the turn of the year 25/26.

About the work/tasks:

Medical assessments and treatments

• Diagnose and treat common diseases in both children and adults in primary care.
• Follow-ups of chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, COPD, asthma, and hypothyroidism.
• Handle acute medical conditions and minor accidents received at the health center.
• Prescribe medications and treatment plans.
• Identify risk factors for diseases and support patients in preventing ill health.
• Act as the patient's primary physician and refer to other specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and other healthcare staff.
• Issue sick leave and certificates.
• Participate in quality work and development of the operations.
• Supervise residents or specialty trainees, as well as sometimes nursing students.

Other:

Interviews at the health center are conducted continuously during the application period. The position is for full-time or part-time employment, but hourly employment can also be discussed.
