We are looking for an operating room nurse to Capio Orthopedic House at Globen in Stockholm. You will work with surgeries in both inpatient and outpatient care at a highly specialized orthopedic clinic with a strong team spirit. The position is a permanent employment focused on orthopedics.

 

About us
Capio Orthopedic House is part of Capio Orthopedics, a network of 13 orthopedic clinics in Sweden. The clinic is located at Globen near Gullmarsplan, an important hub in Stockholm. We are a highly specialized orthopedic clinic, one of Stockholm's largest elective units outside hospitals, and have care agreements with Region Stockholm and several insurance companies. We provide outpatient services, surgeries in day surgery and inpatient care, as well as advanced foot surgery, hip and knee prosthetic surgery, and arthroscopic surgery (knee/shoulder). The clinic has four operating rooms with an associated recovery unit operating Monday to Thursday. We also have a sterile unit staffed daily with sterilization technicians and nursing assistants, as well as a ward with 19 beds. Patients come through referrals or insurance companies. We prioritize continuity, medical quality, high patient safety, and short lead times. The team works with exchange and support in a development-oriented environment with a central location in Stockholm. Your role
You will work as an operating room nurse with standard tasks within surgical nursing, rotating between day surgery and inpatient surgery. Experience or interest in orthopedics is an advantage, and you will have the opportunity to develop in the field with us. You enjoy working systematically, both independently and in a team, contributing to effective patient flows. The work is during daytime hours from Monday to Thursday.

Your qualifications
You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in surgical nursing, have several years of experience, and are confident in your professional role. You are service-oriented, have good collaboration skills, take initiative and responsibility for both your own tasks and the overall situation. You are flexible and unpretentious as the work is based on teamwork, and you have a quality mindset focused on high patient safety.
