About the role As a group leader, your primary task is to coach and work in the daily care activities together with the team. This means that you are a role model for your employees, and through your strong commitment, you create a good working atmosphere in the group every day. You will work during the day, on weekends, and in the evenings.

• Close leadership: The role exists in our organization to ensure close leadership and provide support. You have personnel and planning responsibility for your work group and are involved in developing and quality assuring the operations in accordance with Vardaga's concept. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in their daily work. You have several group leader colleagues with whom you collaborate, brainstorm, and exchange experiences.
• Participation: As a group leader, you report to the operations manager and have the opportunity to influence through your participation in the local management group.

About Villa Näs Villa Näs is a residence with a total of 60 places. The building is three stories high with two departments per floor and common areas on the ground floor. Villa Näs has 40 places for the elderly with dementia and 20 nursing places.

• Activity coordinator: We work systematically with activities and have an activity coordinator who develops and carries out meaningful activities with our residents.
• Dementia certification: We are starting the process of becoming a dementia-certified residence in January 2025, which means that all of us working here will be trained in dementia and care through Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/). You will also undergo this training.
• Needs-based preferred schedule: We apply a needs-based preferred schedule. This means that you and your employees have the opportunity to influence working hours based on needs and preferences. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time.
• Young Care: We have a collaboration with the company Young Care (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/ung-omsorg-pa-vara-boenden/). This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Young Care engages in various activities with us who work here, to enhance the quality of life for the residents.
• Animals in care: Here we work with animals in care, and we have regular visits from therapy animals.

Your experience and knowledge You are a trained nursing assistant, have good computer skills, and speak and write fluent Swedish. Experience in elderly care and leadership is meritorious for this role. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
