Mark Combat School in Skövde seeks Development Officer with responsibility for Bgbv 120 and Bgbv 90
The role of the Mark Combat School (MSS) is to create conditions for the school to fulfill its assigned tasks effectively, both nationally and internationally, in collaboration with other parts of the army. MSS also undertakes tasks for the entire Armed Forces, such as the development of organizations and units, training of leaders and staff members, and training of units. Your workplace is of international top class when it comes to combat training facilities.

About the position
The assignment to be responsible for the material means that you, together with the system/competence representative, are the user representative towards HKV/FMV and act as HKV representative towards the units. As the responsible officer, you are a knowledge bearer and expert within one (or parts of) material system.
The focus and responsibility for this position lie with Bgbv 120 and Bgbv 90.
Examples of tasks include:
- Support requirements specification work for material and units
- Develop training plans, lead and conduct training
- Conduct/support user meetings with the units' user representatives
- Support status monitoring and gather user feedback
- Conduct validation and verification of material systems
- Support the development of publications
- Support the development of each type company
The position involves independent work within your area of responsibility and affects all parts of the school's line organization. The position also includes frequent collaboration with representatives from HKV, AST, FMV, schools, centers, and units, which also involves regular travel for work. The position also entails contact and exchange with other nations within your area of responsibility, which places high demands on good social skills.
Qualifications
- Specialist officer, at least OR7 (Sergeant).
- Trained on at least one of the systems Bgbv 120 or Bgbv 90 and have worked with the system for several years.
- Completed approved IK Bgbv 120 or IK Bgbv 90.
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Good knowledge of reading, understanding, and speaking English.
- Driver's license B (Manual).
Personal qualities
As the responsible officer, very good collaboration skills, the ability to plan long-term, and good communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are required. Furthermore, the ability to take initiative and work independently when necessary is required. An open and flexible personality is also required as short timeframes, travel, and emerging tasks occur. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious
- Experience in participating/leading development work within the Armed Forces.
- Trained on one or more combat vehicles.
- Experience from international service in ground combat positions.

Working degree: Full-time
Start date: 2026-01-01 or by agreement
Work location: Skövde
Position placement: Development Unit's Armored Department placement Skövde. Possibility for flexibility regarding where the main work is conducted by agreement.
Business trips: Occur both nationally and internationally.
