Are you an empathetic person who wants to help others? We are looking for dedicated substitutes who want to ease the daily lives of our citizens within the Health and Care Administration.
You can work in a special accommodation or within home care if you are interested in elderly care. If you want to work with citizens who have disabilities, you can for example work in one of our LSS housing, within personal assistance or housing support.

Your new job
Within our activities, we work to support, care for, and take care of our citizens in their daily lives. The work is guided by individual implementation plans. It is important that the citizen feels safe with the care measures being carried out in a safe and correct manner, which is why you need to be able to speak, read, and write in Swedish. Another important task is to document digitally, which you do both via computer and apps on your mobile phone.
The working hours vary depending on which activity you want to work in. In some activities, you work days, evenings, and weekends, while in others you may also work night shifts, awake nights, or around the clock.
Common tasks
- Assist citizens with personal hygiene and basic care
- Support during transfers
- Help with dressing and undressing
- Preparation of light meals
- Dishes and light cleaning tasks
- Document digitally
- Participate in activities for citizens
- Be a pedagogical and social support
Your qualifications
Requirements
- You are 18 years or older
- Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Approved education in SFI D if you have Swedish as a second language
- You are willing to support both male and female citizens with personal care and hygiene
Meritorious
- Care education
- Experience in care and support work
- Driving license B
- Driving license and access to your own car with the ability to work in the municipality's outskirts (Lit, Brunflo, Fåker, or Orrviken)

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest in working with people. You are a calm and stable person and behave in a way that is adapted to the situation. The circumstances of the job can change quickly as you work with people, so you need to adapt and be flexible. When you find yourself in a stressful situation, you remain calm and focus on the right things. You find it easy to work together with others and can collaborate in a responsive and accommodating manner with both colleagues and citizens.
