Loach Roe Sorter for Seasonal Work in Kalix

Location: Kalix/Kalix-Nyborg Employment Type: Seasonal employment, approx. 4-6 weeks from the end of September

About Us

We are a local fishing company with a long tradition of processing and delivering Kalix loach roe – one of Sweden's most exclusive raw materials. We are now looking for meticulous and responsible employees to join our team for this year's season.

Job Responsibilities

As a loach roe sorter, you will work with:

• Cleaning, rinsing, and sorting roe from the loach.

• Ensuring the highest quality according to strict hygiene and food safety standards.

• Working closely with others in production.

The work is manual and requires both precision and endurance. You will receive internal training in the technique for properly cleaning loach roe.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• Has good hand and finger dexterity.

• Is meticulous and patient.

• Enjoys repetitive tasks.

• Can work in cool environments.

• Has good teamwork skills.

Previous experience in food work or the fishing industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
