Data Scientist for a Growing Fintech Company – Brixo

Brixo is a rapidly growing fintech company that challenges the traditional banking system through digital credit lines, with innovative solutions that make financing more accessible and are based on responsible credit assessment. We have permission to conduct consumer credit lending and have recently applied for permission to operate a financing business, which provides a unique opportunity to be involved from the start and build an analytics function tailored to new regulatory requirements. At the same time, the consumer credit market is undergoing significant changes with new legislative proposals, making it an exciting time to contribute with analysis and insights that drive the business forward. About the Role

As a Data Scientist with us, you will play a central role in shaping our analytics department. You will work in a smaller analytics team under development and support other departments with analysis, ad-hoc initiatives, follow-up, reporting, and development projects. You will also participate in operational initiatives ranging from credit risk modeling to financial reporting, where your technical expertise and analytical skills enhance the company's capacity in finance, risk, and compliance. What We Prefer to See from You:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in the role of Data Scientist or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
  • Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS
  • Fluent in Swedish and English

If you also have experience in machine learning and/or credit risk models within finance, that’s a plus.

Why Brixo? We offer an inspiring work environment with around 25 engaged colleagues and great opportunities to make an impact. Our culture is characterized by openness, innovation, and teamwork. With us, you will receive:

  • The opportunity to influence both your role and our development
  • Regular afterworks, dinners, and team events
  • Pension plan via Avanza and generous wellness allowance
  • Centrally located office in Stockholm with flexible working hours

We work full-time on-site, partly for security reasons, but also because we as a small team value the close collaborative environment, where spontaneous conversations and quick check-ins make a big difference in our daily work.
