We are now looking for a Project Buyer who wants to lead purchasing projects, ensure quality and profitability, and contribute to building a stronger world both inside and outside the gym.

This is your chance to combine strategic and tactical purchasing work, develop the supplier base, and create conditions for both innovation and growth. About the role As a Project Buyer, you will be responsible for driving purchasing projects from start to finish. You will work closely with our product managers and development teams and build a supplier base that is economically stable, technically competent, and sustainable in the long term.

The role involves structuring and negotiating long-term agreements, developing suppliers, identifying cost savings, and ensuring that purchases align with both forecasts and actual needs.

Your main responsibilities:  -Lead purchasing projects and procurements with a focus on time, cost, and quality. -Qualify and develop the supplier base. -Structure and negotiate long-term agreements. -Collaborate with product development on drawings, specifications, and sourcing requirements. -Identify and drive cost savings and value-creating projects. -Ensure that purchases align with forecasts and actual demand.

We believe you have:  -Post-secondary education, preferably with a technical focus. -At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry. -Experience in purchasing materials such as steel, rubber, plastic, or castings. -Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on cost and product. -Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop suppliers. -Very good Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

Experience from industries such as rubber, plastic, or steel production, project management, and work in growth environments is an advantage.
