Job Description: The Halland County Museums Foundation, located at Halland's Cultural Historical Museum in Varberg Fortress, is looking for part-time staff for dramatized walks.

The Halland County Museums Foundation operates the museum activities at Halland Art Museum and Halland's Cultural Historical Museum. We are Halland's largest regional cultural institution with about seventy employees.

Halland's Cultural Historical Museum was founded in 1916 and is a county museum with large cultural historical collections, both objects and archival documents.

Job Duties: Do you have a burning interest in history and in conveying it in a dramatized form? Do you want to work in a unique historical environment where you can meet and interact with visitors? We are looking for staff for the summer season for the museum's highly appreciated dramatized walks set in the 17th century. During the summer season, the walks attract many visitors, both children and adults. In addition to acting in the walks, you will also work as a host inside the museum. This involves guiding visitors, answering questions, and telling about the museum's offerings and exhibitions. Light cleaning, opening, and closing of buildings will also be required.

Qualifications: The work suits you if you have the courage and willingness to act according to a script, and we prefer that you have acting experience or experience in similar work. We are looking for someone who is social and service-oriented, responsible, and independent. The job requires a certain level of physical fitness as the pace is high and you move in and out of the fortress's various environments. The walks take place mostly outdoors in all types of weather.

Duration, working hours: Summer season, weeks 25–32. The schedule extends over all days of the week.
