Business Controller at Ellevio

In this role, you will work with extensive and complex investment projects, from urban expansion to rural infrastructure. As a Business Controller at Ellevio, you will have a broad and exciting role where your main focus will be to support the team working with investments in planning, consolidation, and follow-up of operations. The role is characterized by close collaboration with asset owners, planning engineers, and other key functions in the organization. You will be part of the finance organization with other Business Controllers primarily based in Karlstad and Stockholm.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

Here is a selection of the tasks you will work on in the role:

• Ensure that economic processes for investments and asset production function optimally
• Year-end closing work regarding investments and consolidation of operational costs, mainly personnel costs
• Evaluation and assessment of investments
• Contact and collaboration with asset owners regarding large and complex projects
• Forecasting, budgeting, and valuation perspective – how profitable are the investments?
• Work in Excel, Power BI, and internal systems such as Insikt and PCS

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Has a degree in economics or engineering
• Has a few years of work experience, preferably in investment assessment, asset production, or similar
• Is analytically strong, meticulous, and has the ability to work independently
• Has good social skills, is open, and enjoys a role where you contact many different parts of the organization
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing, as you will encounter these daily in your work

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with Excel and Power BI. It is also meritorious if you have worked with financial systems such as Insikt or similar planning systems.
