About Villa Ängby

In January 2026, we will open the doors to Villa Ängby – our newly built nursing home located in the pleasant area of Ängby in Knivsta. The building has three floors and houses 56 modern apartments. Each department has a shared kitchen and inviting spaces for meals, conversations, and community.  There is a shared outdoor area and balconies as well as a beautiful garden with a greenhouse, planting boxes, outdoor seating, water features, and plantings. The residence has its own salon for hair care and treatments. Everything is designed to create The Good Day – every day. 

About the role

You will work in a team together with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, and your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

In the role of occupational therapist, you will work with the residents to find the best ways to utilize their own abilities in daily life. You support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social skills. Often this means that you:

  • make assessments and adapt the daily environment.
  • test and prescribe physical and cognitive aids.
  • guide your colleagues in rehabilitative efforts, approaches, transfer techniques, etc.
  • maintain contact with the residents' relatives.

Your experience and knowledge

We believe that you who are applying to us:

  • have a pedagogical approach and enjoy working in a team as well as supporting colleagues.

You are a licensed occupational therapist, and we prefer that you have several years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is a requirement.
