Restaurant Assistant at O’Learys Växjö

About the position: We are now looking for a cheerful and outgoing person who is ready to take on various tasks and contribute to a pleasant and professional atmosphere at O’Learys Växjö. As a restaurant assistant, you will take on several different roles, such as Runner, Dishwasher, Server, Cloakroom Attendant, or Kitchen Assistant, with various tasks to ensure smooth operations of the restaurant and deliver outstanding service to our guests.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring thorough cleaning and maintenance of the premises according to given routines and checklists
• Assisting in the dishwashing and bar areas by collecting dishes and replenishing supplies
• Sorting and washing all incoming dishes
• Keeping the dishwashing area clean and organized
• Emptying trash and keeping drains clean
• Welcoming and serving guests, taking orders, and serving food and drinks
• Ensuring that alcohol is not served to minors or overly intoxicated guests
• Maintaining order in the cloakroom and handling payments
• Returning guests' clothing at the end of the evening
• Preparing ingredients and cleaning in the kitchen
• Assisting with inventory and receiving deliveries

Desired experience and qualities:

• At least one year of work experience as service staff in a restaurant/bar and good cash handling skills
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and have good knowledge of English

• At least a high school education
• Relationship-building, stress-resistant, and enjoys working as part of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Problem solver focused on creating a great experience for the guest
• Have a passion for food, drinks, sports, and people
