Therefore, we think innovatively and use the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. The IT department of the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is looking for senior system developers. In the area we work in, we are involved in the entire development chain, and we are currently undergoing a transition to a product organization. Our products, which include frameworks, tools, and other general services, support other development teams responsible for the agency's in-house developed benefit systems.

Development, C++/Java, data storage, and container technology

As a system developer with us, you will work in a product team with a strong focus on collaboration and joint problem-solving. You are expected to have the ability to see the whole picture in system development, understand how different parts are interconnected, and contribute to a well-functioning whole. Your role involves not only writing code but also actively participating in the entire development chain – from analysis, design, all the way to delivery.

We are looking for someone who primarily has experience with C++, Java, data storage, and a DevOps mindset according to GitOps. You will work with container platforms and microservices architecture. We value a working method that focuses on automating and streamlining processes, where both software development and technology collaborate for the best possible results.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high level of security awareness.

We are looking for someone who

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has experience with C++ or Java
• has experience with SQL (DB2)
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues
• has good communication skills, both spoken and written
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is advantageous if you

• have many years of experience with C++
• have knowledge or experience in any of the following areas: Jenkins/Tekton, ArgoCD, Quarkus, Typescript, Wildfly, Git, Vue, Jira
• have experience with agile methods
• have knowledge or experience of OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes/Helm
• have experience in testing and test automation.

Two positions, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable.
