Every year, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency makes 24 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 250 billion SEK each year. These are public funds that we manage, which is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we innovate and utilize the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. The Production Center area is the central hub within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's IT production. Here, we are responsible for the entire chain from production planning to deployment, monitoring, and support of our IT services. We have a holistic view of the systems and act as the link between those who develop and manage our IT products and the operations that use them daily. The area is divided into six units and consists of nearly 100 employees, with the Production Assurance unit where the position is located divided into three teams with a total of 12 employees, currently in a growth phase.

Operations Analysis, Container Platforms, Microservices
In your role as an IT technician, you will be part of a technology-driven team working towards common goals to ensure that the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's IT systems function stably and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in developing, optimizing, and monitoring our solutions within monitoring, container platforms, automation, and cloud technology – all to support the IT services used daily by thousands of people across Sweden. We value your ability to work systematically and efficiently to ensure high operational reliability and continuous development of our systems.

Curiosity and a desire to constantly learn more about the unknown are central traits for this role. You will perform risk analyses for changes within a broad product range, focusing on performance, monitoring, and oversight. You will work on establishing and developing solutions to monitor and ensure the operation of our systems, where tools such as Grafana and Prometheus are central to the work.

A significant part of the role is to analyze and troubleshoot the operation of our IT services within container platforms such as OpenShift and Kubernetes. You will also work with the analysis of microservices to ensure that the systems meet the operational requirements and needs. You will be an active part of troubleshooting processes, identifying and documenting problems, and contributing to improving performance, capacity, robustness, and observability. The work involves close collaboration with other parts of the IT organization, where you help establish effective working methods and communication channels.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a strong security awareness.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a university degree or equivalent experience and qualifications
• has experience with the container platform OpenShift and Kubernetes
• has experience with microservices
• acts on their own initiative and takes responsibility for achieving good results
• collaborates effectively with others to achieve common goals
• has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• has good communication skills, both spoken and written
• has a systematic and meticulous working method
• can understand and analyze complex issues.

It is an advantage if you have:

• knowledge or experience of Service mesh
• knowledge or experience of using and visualizing with tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Kibana, and Greylog
• knowledge or experience of agile working methods
• good self-awareness and strive for personal development
• knowledge or experience of the ITIL framework and its processes.
