As a Data Engineer at Insera, your main task is to build and further develop data warehouses that form the basis for customers' decision support in Insight - Insera's BI system. You will work on retrieving data from various sources, connecting it, creating a good structure, and building logic that makes the data usable in the best way.

You will either work closely with customers to understand their needs and requirements or focus more on the technology and data logic behind the scenes – it depends on who you are and what you enjoy the most. At Insera, there are good opportunities to shape the role over time!

As a Data Engineer, you will for example work with:

• Retrieving, processing, and validating data from different systems.

• Building and maintaining data warehouses with clear structure and logic.

• Working with SQL, integrations, and APIs.

• Designing ETL processes and creating data models that support analysis and reporting.

• Collaborating with business consultants, developers, and other colleagues in the team.

• Contributing suggestions on how the data can be complemented and improved to create more value for the customer.

You will be part of a smaller team of four people, where you take significant personal responsibility but also prioritize helping your colleagues when needed. Sometimes you will work on multiple assignments simultaneously, sometimes focused on one. Regardless, your role is to ensure that the data is correct, logical, and usable.

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience working with data and who enjoys working practically with databases. You don't need to be an expert in everything from the start, but you need to have an understanding of data logic, structure, and how to create value with data. To thrive in the role, we believe you are analytical, structured, and enjoy solving problems. You are confident and accustomed to driving your own processes and working independently, but you are also a team player who appreciates good collaboration with your colleagues.

To thrive in the role, you have:

• Very good knowledge of SQL.

• Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures.

• Understanding of how to build data models, create keys, and connect data from multiple sources.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you also have experience with:

• Decision support systems or BI tools (for example, Power BI or Qlik)

• Have worked in customer assignments to gather requirements and transform needs into solutions

• ETL processes or data integrations

Location: The work is performed from the office in Norrköping, with some possibility for remote work about 2 days/week.
