About the Role

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their everyday lives.

You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act. As a security guard, you are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations.

This position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong community and a wide range of experience among us colleagues that enables us to handle most situations. If you want to be part of a close-knit team, this is the job for you.

Requirements

We believe that you are a stable and stress-resistant person who can handle pressure and adversity well. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when required. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You hold a valid security guard license
• You have passed grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

• The position is a part-time job where you are offered 75%, with start date by agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have passed grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
