At Vår Omtanke, we are now looking for several personal assistants who want to work with our client who lives relatively centrally in Uppsala! In this role, you will make a difference in people's lives and work with us towards our vision – Everyone has the right to a good life.

About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant as needed and can book in advance occasionally for a man in his 60s living in Uppsala/Gränby.

As a substitute, you need to be flexible and able to work during the absence of regular assistants due to e.g. vacation or illness, often at short notice.

You primarily need to be able to work between 8 AM - 3 PM and/or 3 PM - 10 PM at least a few days a week.

It is often possible to book shifts relatively far in advance. Currently, there are fixed times available every Thursday from 3 PM - 10 PM and every Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM.

Your tasks include, among other things: Transfers, assistance, personal hygiene, and accompanying on various activities.

Meritorious: If you currently work as a personal assistant or have done so previously.

Working hours: Usually 8 AM - 3 PM or 3 PM - 10 PM. Sometimes there are also night shifts available between 10 PM - 8 AM.

Scope: 2 substitutes as needed, and there is a possibility to get fixed shifts scheduled every Thursday from 3 PM - 10 PM and every Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM. Other: To be employed with us, you need to have a bank ID.

Who are you?

You are an honest and reliable person who genuinely enjoys working, and you have the ability to create a harmonious atmosphere around you. You should have great empathy, patience, and the ability to understand another person's situation and be very attentive. We are primarily looking for someone with experience working as a personal assistant or other relevant experience. As a person, you have good social skills, consider the whole client's needs, are meticulous and responsible, and have a good attitude. We are looking for both men and women for this position.
