As a residential support worker, you will become an important part of our customers' everyday lives and provide support based on their individual needs by encouraging, motivating, and stimulating the individual's own ability to perform daily activities. You work to provide each customer with individualized support that helps them create structure, routines, and planning in their daily lives.

The support can be both verbal, pedagogical, motivational, and practical in nature. Commonly provided support includes planning, communication, activities, social interaction, and household chores. The work also includes documentation, collaboration with relatives, representatives, and other actors in the customer's network, as well as delegated health and medical services (HSL).

The tasks of a residential support worker include documentation, establishing implementation plans, and being a contact person.

Examples of tasks:

• Daily chores such as cleaning, shopping, cooking, making beds
• Documentation and reporting
• Outings, walks, training, and activities
• Personal care such as hygiene, showering, toilet visits, support, social presence
• Support and motivate the customer for increased independence in their daily lives

Working hours are arranged according to the customers' needs and vary between day, evening, and on-call, weekdays, and every other weekend.

Trumle group home within LSS with 6 apartments. We are located in Glemmingebro just outside Ystad, and the facility has its own vehicle for outings, activities, and other adventures.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed. Knowledge of functional variations and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) is essential. Housing under LSS is granted to individuals with various types of functional variations, and the support is based on the individuals' needs. We focus on creating participation based on individual conditions and opportunities for an active and meaningful life in a safe and pleasant environment.

• We see that you are a nursing assistant, social pedagogue, or have another equivalent education in the field of disabilities.

• You have previous experience working with LSS and have care experience.

• Meritorious education and experience in the following areas: clear pedagogical methods and alternative communication TEACCH, TAKK, social stories, challenging behavior, MI, and low-affective approach.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language is required, both spoken and written.

• We prefer that you have good physical ability as activities with customers are included.

• Driver's license

Employment form: Permanent employment with an initial probationary period of 6 months.

Scope: 70%

Start date: According to agreement

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
