About the Position

We are currently seeking CNC operators for both milling and turning for a company in Ljusfallshammar!

CNC operators play a key role in ensuring the quality of the production flow from start to finish, and in this role, you will have a lot of freedom under responsibility. The work consists of programming the machines in CAM based on drawings, operating the machine, and checking the results. The tasks also include tool changes, machine setup, preventive maintenance, and measurement. Some documentation and administration, as well as an understanding of safety regulations, are also part of the role.

All products are customized, which means that it is not mass production. This contributes to a varied and challenging work environment.

The start date for the assignment is immediate or as agreed. Working hours are during the day. The assignment involves an initial employment with Ikett, with a good chance of direct employment with the company.

Your Profile

To be qualified for the role, you need to have:

• Practical education in the industry or equivalent experience
• Experience working with milling/turning
• Knowledge of programming
• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language

It is an advantage if you have:

• Knowledge and/or experience with CAM programs such as Edgecam or GibbsCAM
• Forklift and overhead crane licenses
• Good knowledge of English

Furthermore, we see that you are a communicative and attentive problem solver with a positive attitude towards learning new things. Drawings and instructions are something you are confident in investigating and working with, while also having good collaboration skills. Perhaps you have recently completed your education, or you have previous experience with similar tasks. Strong skills in CAM programming from 3D solid are highly meritorious. We place great importance on personal qualities.
