Head Chef Wanted at Kulturbageriet in Umeå

Kulturbageriet is a café and artisanal bakery with a passion for organic and small-scale production. We exclusively use natural ingredients, primarily KRAV-certified from Swedish farms. The food we prepare is simple café fare such as salads, sourdough pizzas, etc., but all dishes have a clear green profile where ingredients and flavors speak for themselves. All bread and pastries are baked with sourdough or levain as a base and are allowed to rise slowly before being baked in our large stone oven.

We are looking for someone who is a trained cold kitchen chef or cook with a few years of work experience.

You should have a genuine interest in food and flavor, as well as an ambition to develop and learn new things. As a person, you are structured, good at prioritizing and planning, enjoy working proactively, and see the bigger picture in what we do. We work together in a small team at Kulturbageriet, and here we want and need to help each other, work across boundaries, and find solutions together to deliver quality and hospitality of world-class.

Furthermore, we see that you are good at taking your own initiatives, curious, and eager to learn and be challenged in your role.

The position is a permanent part-time role at 80% with a six-month probationary period.

Varied working hours including weekends and evenings may occur.
