Securus is looking for someone who has a focus on people, enjoys independent work, and wants a key role in a government agency where safety, service, and order go hand in hand. You will be employed by Securus and work on-site at our client, the National Archives in Härnösand – an important societal actor that preserves Sweden's history.

About the assignment This is a role for you who have a genuine interest in service and a professional approach. You are comfortable working independently, take responsibility for your tasks, and ensure that both people and the environment remain safe and welcoming. The position combines reception work with tasks related to supervision, access control, and basic security routines in a government agency where order, respect, and service are central. 

Examples of tasks:

  • Receive and register visitors
  • Provide information, guidance, and answer questions
  • Monitor via cameras and conduct simple patrols
  • Perform administrative tasks during quieter periods.

You will work largely independently but will be part of a larger context and have support from both Securus and staff at the National Archives. Since the operation is new in the premises, you will also have the opportunity to help shape the role and influence how routines and service are implemented in practice.

Working hours and scope Monday–Friday from 08:00 to 16:30 (Tuesdays until 19:30) Start: October 1 (fixed start date) One main position + one substitute Some flexibility is required for changes.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a background in service professions, such as retail, reception, healthcare, hotel, or customer service
  • Is social, attentive, and professional in contact with people
  • Enjoys working independently and taking responsibility
  • Can switch pace between calm and intense periods
  • If you have a security guard background, it is a big plus – but it is your service mindset that we value the most.

Formal requirements: Approved security guard training (VU1 and VU2) is required to operate Excellent Swedish in speech and writing Good knowledge of English You must be able to pass a security check and background check.

About the assignment environment: The National Archives is an authority under the Ministry of Culture with a welcoming and collegial culture. You will enter at a stage where the operation is moving into new premises and will be part of the initial setup. Here, everyone helps each other, builds routines together, and creates a safe, professional, and accessible meeting for both visitors and staff.
